Personal Brand Messages in Music: Show Yourself (Frozen II)

Songs can say it all right? So, what is this one telling you about your personal brand? Let's find out.

It can feel scary, stepping into your personal brand. It's what you were meant to do. Who you were meant to be. And it's always been inside of you; the vision of what you could see for yourself, but not quite put your finger on. It's the thing that tells you, "there's got to be MORE for me". You can always sense it. No matter how hard you try to hide it, it never goes away. It's never a stranger. And when you embrace it, it feels so natural. Like coming home.

"I have always been a fortress; cold secrets deep inside.

You have secrets too, but you don't have to hide".

The world teaches us to hide who we really are. To try and be something other people expect us to be. So we hold our personal brand deep down (like I said, it can't actually disappear) and keep it a secret. And we ALL do it. At some point or another in our lives. For differing amounts of time. And once we recognize that in another, we realize there is actually a safe space for us all NOT to hide :)

Are you the one I've been looking for all of my life?

Show yourself. I'm ready to learn."

We start to believe that the answers we seek are somewhere else. That someONE else has them. So we start searching. We find them in online templates. We find them in coaches. We find them in the people we follow on LinkedIn. We bet all our cards on someone else giving us the answer, and if we just follow their instructions, we'll find the answer we are looking for.

"I've never felt so certain. All my life, I've been torn.

But I'm here for a reason. Could it be the reason I was born?

I have always been so different, normal rules did not apply.

Is this the day? Are you the way I finally find out why?"

Throughout our lives we experience personal brand misalignment. When we feel torn between the things we think we SHOULD do, and what we really want to do. When we do what is expected but not honor our heart. Once you get behind the idea that you are here for a reason, everything looks different. And the reason why "normal rules" don't apply, is that there ARE no "normal rules".

"Show yourself. I'm no longer trembling.

Here I am, I've come so far.

You are the answer I've waited for all of my life.

Once we find that certainty, there's nothing to be scared of anymore. You realize that all you've experienced, all that you've done, is leading to where you are. But we still think that someone else needs to put together the puzzle pieces. We're still waiting for an answer to show up.

"Come to me now. Open your door. Don't make me wait one moment more."

There are people who need you. They are calling you. Just waiting for you to open your door and show them who you are. They are waiting. For how much longer?

"Show yourself. Step into your power.

Grow yourself into something new.

You are the one you've been waiting for all of your life. Show yourself."

You have all of the answers to all of your questions. They are inside you today. All you need is a guide to get you there. A voice that's calling you to show yourself.
